This is a hand painted original silk scroll which was imported from Japan. It ‘s fairly large measuring appox. 4.74 ft x 2.18 ft or 56.89 x 26.18 inches. This scroll was made by the deceased painter and scroll maker Kasahara Kayu who passed away in 1990. This is a great choice for fall or early winter display when the persimmons are in season. The image itself is not too busy and would complement your tree well or look nicely displayed on its own. The elements in the scroll connect to audiences in the East and West, making it a great choice for displays in the United States. The scroll is in good condition overall, however it has some permanent wrinkles and folds. The display box has one corner which seems to be coming apart, please examine images closely for more detail.

Please examine all images closely before purchasing. Many of the items I have for sales have decades of use and may be dirty and small cracks or chips. I do my best to point out anything noteworthy, however it’s very possible I could miss something. Also, because frequently my contacts are in Japan, it’s possible certain subtleties get lost in translation. Finally color may vary depending on specific lighting. My intention is not to mislead anyone and I offer a full refund minus return shipping within six days of receiving an item if you are not fully satisfied.
